October 7 – 8
Oktoberfest – Truro Piazza

Truro’s annual Oktoberfest will be in full swing from Friday 7th till Saturday the 8th so grab your lederhosen and your decorative commemorative flagon, as this year there’s double the bar, double the staff, double the taps, and double the days!

Beer, food, music, and bavarian culture in Lemon Quay.


October 8 – 9 
Cornwall’s Mid Century & Vintage Fair

We know you love vintage. You vintage lover you.

Running on Sat from 10am-5pm, and Sun from 10am-4pm at the Bedruthan Hotel and Spa, you can expect more than 50 stalls of vintage ware and plenty of iconic mid-century design.

Antiques! Vintage fashion and beauty! Collectibles and various retro home wares and ornaments! There’s even a tea room to relax and re-caffeinate.

If you’re looking to produce your own items within this aesthetic, there’s also a variety of workshops; from tintype photography to how to screen print your own retro-inspired posters, to vintage headpiece making!


October 13 – 16
Falmouth Oyster Festival

Celebrate the start of oyster dredging season by visiting the Falmouth Oyster Festival.
A full programme of events include live music, Cornish produce, a working boat race wine bars, arts and crafts and a grand parade. The event is now in its 20th year and is one not to miss!


October 20 – 22
Falmouth Beer Festival

Even more beer and ale! This time in the always attractive location of Princess Pavilion – Falmouth.

Over 240 ales and 60+ ciders and perries all accompanied with beautiful sea views and Gylly beach just a footstep away. Getting there is easy, with plenty of car parks and the train station just a 3 minute walk away.


October 22 – 30

Halloween in the jungle. In Cornwall.

Perfect for the kids with plenty of magical craft workshops and activities, a ‘Room on the Broom trail’ treasure-hunt with storytelling, pumpkin carving, face painting, and the chance to meet some CREATURES OF THE NIGHT.

EDEN has a very atmospheric setting, especially in the darker Autumn evenings, and ticket prices are included in the general admission fee.


November 2-13
The Cornwall Film Festival

Celebrating both local and international filmmaking, the Cornwall Film Festival is a giant affair that showcases the best of film with premiers, developmental workshops, lectures and parties. The festival attracts a huge amount of the UK’s leading industry professionals too, so whether you’re interested in networking, learning, or simply sitting back and enjoying some seriously quality entertainment, the festival is definitely worth checking out.


November 23
Truro – City of Lights Festival and Parade

The City of Lights parade is hugely anticipated ever year, with crowds from all over gathering to enjoy the dazzling winter display. Expect live music, dance, food and, of course, the procession itself; a glowing lantern and light focused musical parade.

Watch the city light up in spectacular fashion!
