We’re delighted to have come home with silver for Holiday Village & Village of the Year and Highly Commended for Customer Service Superstar Award for Deanna Hayes & Sigourney Kiddy, in the prestigious South West England Tourism Excellence Award, held on 7 February at Aerospace Bristol under the wings of the last Concorde to ever fly.

With 390 guests, this was the biggest annual regional gathering of tourism businesses from the South West, with 107 awards given out following a rigorous judging process considering an unprecedented 651 entries across the entire South West region from Wiltshire & Dorset, Cornwall, Devon & Somerset, Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire. All entrants underwent a thorough short-listing process that involved 472 of them being visited by a team of 51 ’mystery shoppers’.

The award follows closely on The Park, Cornwall winning not one but two Gold awards at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in November last year: Holiday Village & Village of the Year, and Customer Service Superstars accolades for two of our staff . We also won gold in the David Bellamy Conservation Award 2018/19 for our bee-friendliness, our wildflowers and our hedgerows, a five-star self-catering rating from VisitEngland and a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
