Mawgan Porth beach is just a few minutes walk from The Park, Cornwall. This is a great family beach and is dog-friendly all year round. There are several interesting rockpools to explore. The facilities are great with public toilets, including disabled access to the beach. The beach is lifeguarded from : Easter School Holiday 29 March - 14 April 2024, Weekends only 20 April - 28 April 2024. Mawgan Porth beach is a popular surfing beach and is exposed to the Atlantic swells, so great surf when it's going off!

Dramatic and spellbinding, Bedruthan Steps is one of the most popular destinations in Cornwall and it’s easy to see why. This must-see stretch of coastline is littered with picture-postcard coves, spectacular views and colossal wind-swept cliffs. Beware that access to the sandy beach is steep and narrow, and the stairs are closed during winter. Toilets and parking are accessible year-round, while the popular tearoom has reduced opening times in winter. 10mins from The Park

Harlyn is a great family beach. A wide beach great for swimming during summer months, when there is lifeguard cover. There's lots to keep kids occupied too with rock pools, sand dunes and a small stream.The beach is lifeguarded from : Easter School Holiday 29 March - 14 April 2024, Weekends only 20 April - 28 April 2024.

Fistral Beach is a popular surfing destination in Newquay, Cornwall, known for its consistent waves and hosting international surf competitions. Fistral Beach has easy access from the car park which also has disabled spaces. Dogs allowed all year and there are a selection of places to eat such as Firstal Beach Bar, Rick Steins, The Stable and Anne's Cottage

Towan is Newquay's most sheltered beach and nestles up against the town's harbour. This is ideal families and is also lifeguarded during the summer months. Towan is located on the Newquay town's doorstep there are plenty of facilities on and around the beach.

Trevone is a popular beach for both surfers and families. The main beach is sandy inlet that is actually far deeper than it is wide. To either side of this expanse of golden sand are rocky ledges which are home to some great rock pools. RNLI lifeguards are present in the summer months. Please note there can be a strong rip current on the right side of the beach at times.

A beautiful 2-mile stretch of fine golden sand, Watergate Bay can be enjoyed whatever the weather, from the heat of summer to the windswept depths of winter. Offering opportunities for kitesurfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding and surfing, there are plenty of rock pools and caves to explore, and it’s the perfect beach for building sandcastles! There are lifeguard facilities from April-September while the Beach Hut serves up tasty meals and refreshments year-round. 10mins from The Park
